Mark Zaccaria

Mark Zaccaria is a lifelong Republican whose campaign experience dates back to his High School days, distributing literature for Barry Goldwater’s run for President.  Mark’s campaign experience also extends forward to his successful campaigns for a seat on the North Kingstown Town Council, his two runs for Rhode Island’s Congressional Seat in District 2, and one for the US Senate.

 

In-between Mark served on active duty in the United States Air Force.  In the Air Training Command he was a Flight Instructor and also met Lt. Ruth Carter, his future wife.  He had a career in corporate management and now runs a small consultancy out of his home in Saunderstown.  Married to Ruth these 41 years, the two are the proud parents of three adult children all of whom still live in Rhode Island.  They are Adam – 38, Kate – 36, and April 28.  The couple share interests in Politics, Skeet & Trap Shooting, Athletic Training, and a rather floppy Cocker Spaniel named Tom Brady.

 

Mark and Ruth are members of the RI GOP State Central Committee and he is a past Chair of the state party.
